Peter Gurney bestows a blessing on the assembled visitors.

A large number of cavy enthusiasts attended the Guinea Pig Extravaganza held at Arlington, VA on 22nd July 2000. Guinea Pig Rescue organisations, Cavy Madness, and The Winking Cavy Store were present, and renowned cavy author Peter Gurney who delighted visitors with a talk on his experiences, and signed copies of his books for visitors.

The event was organised by Judi Lainer of Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue and sponsored by TFH Publications and The Winking Cavy Store.
